Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Jubail for a Wooden Production Engineer. The Wooden Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing production processes, coordinating production planning, and implementing quality control measures. This role involves analyzing workflows, identifying productivity improvements, managing operational efficiency, and collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in wood manufacturing and joinery factories.
• Strong technical knowledge of woodwork items including doors, cabinetry, cladding, and custom joinery works.
• Proven experience supervising production teams and coordinating factory operations.
• Experience supporting large-scale projects such as hospitals, hotels, residential compounds, and high-end villas.
• Strong ability to coordinate effectively with the Projects Department to ensure alignment between production schedules and project timelines.
• Ability to review shop drawings, technical specifications, and ensure production compliance.
• Experience working with international consultants and project specifications.
• Familiarity with international certifications such as Intertek and LEED is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi market, including suppliers, materials, pricing structures, and execution practices.
• Experience with ERP systems (experience with Odoo is preferred).
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting production challenges and improving workflow efficiency.
• Solid experience in Quality Control and maintaining high production standards.
• Demonstrated leadership capability in managing teams and driving performance.
• Ability to prepare production plans and monitor manufacturing schedules.
• Experience in material optimization and minimizing production waste.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with production teams, procurement, and project management.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and manufacturing best practices.
• Good command of English (reading and writing).
