Job Title: Fit-Out Engineer (Site-Based)

Hemamona General Contracting is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Fit-Out Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This role is primarily site-based and requires hands-on supervision of all finishing works, ensuring execution in line with approved designs, specifications, and project timelines.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, solid on-site experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality finishing works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all fit-out and finishing activities on-site, including painting, flooring, ceilings, partitions, doors, glass, and interior finishes.
• Ensure all works are executed in strict accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and design intent.
• Review and validate shop drawings prior to execution.
• Coordinate with consultants and designers to resolve technical issues and discrepancies.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.
• Manage and supervise subcontractors and site labor to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections, snagging, and de-snagging to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and highlight any risks or delays.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
• Support project handover processes, ensuring all works meet client expectations and contractual standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in fit-out, finishing, or construction projects.
• Strong technical understanding of finishing works and site execution.
• Proven experience in site supervision and subcontractor management.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management tools (MS Project or Primavera).
• Experience in commercial, office, or hospitality fit-out projects is preferred.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
