Job Title: Telecommunication Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Telecommunication Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of telecommunication systems, with strong expertise in TETRA communication systems, Cisco networking equipment, and telecommunication tower installation.

• Install, configure, test, and commission telecommunication systems and network infrastructure.
• Perform installation and integration of TETRA radio communication systems.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco switches and network devices.
• Supervise the installation, erection, and commissioning of telecommunication towers and related infrastructure.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of telecom equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve network and communication system faults.
• Ensure all installations comply with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and as-built records.

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with:
• TETRA Radio Communication Systems
• Cisco Switches (Configuration and Troubleshooting)
• Telecommunication Tower Installation and Commissioning
• Structured Cabling and Fiber Optic Systems
• IP Networking and LAN/WAN Technologies
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and network diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with international telecom standards and safety procedures.

• Cisco Certification (CCNA/CCNP) is an advantage.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, utility, or government telecommunication projects.
• Knowledge of fiber optic testing (OTDR, Fusion Splicing) is preferred.
• Valid driving license is an added advantage.
