Role Description The Company Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Khobar, responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate, compliant accounting records. This role includes preparing and reviewing journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, reconciling bank and account balances, and overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable. The Company Accountant will support month-end and year-end closing, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and prepare financial statements and management reports. The role also involves monitoring cash flow, supporting external audits, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with internal teams on financial controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow monitoring.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems, with solid Excel skills and comfort working with financial data and reports.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and local regulatory and tax requirements, with attention to compliance and internal controls.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present financial information clearly.
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and integrity, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, SOCPA) is an advantage.
• Prior experience as an accountant in a technology, engineering, or services company in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
