المهام والمسؤوليات

Role Description The Bolt Torquing Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam. This position is responsible for performing precise bolt torquing and tensioning activities on industrial equipment and piping systems, following technical specifications and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include using calibrated torque and tensioning tools, preparing work areas, verifying flange and joint integrity, and recording torque values and test results. The technician collaborates with supervisors, engineers, and site teams to plan work, participate in shutdowns and maintenance activities, and ensure minimal downtime for clients. The role also involves adhering to company and client safety procedures, maintaining tools and equipment, and supporting quality and compliance requirements aligned with SAAB’s ISO-certified practices.

- Candidates should possess strong safety and compliance awareness, including familiarity with industrial safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and basic knowledge of ISO and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess practical mechanical aptitude, including experience with industrial fittings, flanges, hoses, and general mechanical maintenance in oil and gas or related sectors.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and site personnel, and to complete accurate documentation and reports.
- Relevant technical diploma, trade certificate, or vocational qualification in mechanical or industrial maintenance is preferred; prior experience in bolt torquing or flange management is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in industrial environments, including during shutdowns and extended shifts when required, and capacity to handle physical tasks safely.
