- Reporting to the CSO, the project coordinator is responsible for facilitating the project implementation. Monitor dashboards, KPIs, coordinate, review, follow up and seek completion of dept initiatives, assist in implementation and monitoring the alignment of the management system aiming to achieve DHC strategic objective.
Roles and Responsibilities
Organizational Accountabilities:
- Ensures all assigned projects and operational programmes are aligned with the approved strategic plan. Coordinates with department heads and committee leads to confirm deliverables remain consistent with enterprise-wide priorities.
- Monitors and tracks BSC performance data at the project and programme level. Flags deviations and reports status to the Strategy Analyst and CSO.
- Compiles and maintains project-level progress reports and portfolio status updates. Provides the CSO with a clear operational view of project and programme performance.
- Supports the cascading process by coordinating with department leads to confirm project objectives and deliverables are consistent with the assigned strategic targets.
- Maintains communication with project teams, committee leads, and operational stakeholders to coordinate activities, follow up on actions, and facilitate issue resolution.
- Monitors day-to-day project risks and operational issues. Escalates concerns to the relevant project sponsor or manager promptly to prevent delays or quality failures.
Functional Accountabilities:
- Collects, organizes, and validates project-level data. Supports data availability and ensures accurate records are maintained for reporting purposes.
- Populates and monitors existing dashboards and KPI trackers. Updates project-level data, flags variances, and ensures dashboards reflect current project status.
- Tracks project budgets against approved allocations. Flags budget variances to the relevant project manager or the Strategy Analyst for further analysis.
- Maintains the day-to-day centralized project registry. Ensures each project has a complete and issued project pack, and tracks milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource utilization.

Job Qualifications and Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- 4-6 years of experience in progressive experience in a project coordination, project management support, or PMO role, preferably within a healthcare or similarly complex organizational environment. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience working in structured environments with multiple stakeholders.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Project Management, or related field - required.
- Certification in project analysis, business analytics, or project management (e.g., KPI, OKR, BSC, or TQM...etc) - preferred.
Skills
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in Arabic and English (verbal and written).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to prepare clear reports, meeting minutes, and maintain accurate records.
- Time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of IT service workflows and healthcare IT systems is desirable.
