Title: Technical Consultant

Job description:
Technical Skills: Some technical skills include JavaScript, HTML, CSS, programming languages, and database/SQL Server experience, along with banking domain experience.
Application Administration:
- Install, configure, and upgrade on application software and related components.
- Monitor application performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including operational procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical support to end-users on application-related issues.
- Complete setup and test for the Disaster Recovery with Work Instructions and Procedures.
- Perform planned and sudden Disaster Recovery exercises when requested by SNB.
- Ensure the timely and effective restoration of services in the event of a disaster.
- Identify root causes of issues that affect the stability and performance of the system and providing detailed reports to counter them in respective projects to avoid disruptions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents within agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs) during business hours.
- Analysis and resolution of the production incidents reported by business users, root cause analysis and problem resolution according to defined SLAs.
- Manage the end-to-end resolution of production incidents on a 24/7 basis, performing root cause analysis and problem resolution according to defined SLAs.
- Proactively identifying potential risks and providing recommendations for mitigating them to incorporate them in project planning.
- Configure application-level alerts and health checks on the APM tool, monitor the production environment for API/app availability, and maintain regular system health checks to ensure disaster recovery (DR) readiness.
- Proactively monitor and attend to NOC ‘Network Operation Center’ alerts, executing immediate remediation actions to ensure system stability.
- Ensure optimal system performance, scalability, and stability, the production support team shall perform continuous capacity planning in collaboration with the development team and architects to avoid any performance issues.
Database Administration:
- Monitor database performance, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure database security batching.
- Assist in database design and optimization.
FinCollaboration:
- Collaborate with other IT teams, business users, and vendors to resolve issues and implement system enhancements.
- Participate in project planning and implementation activities related to the application.
