Description
Tuwaiq Casting & Forging is seeking a technically capable ERP/MES/DMS Officer to join the Design Engineering Division. Reporting to the 3D Modeling Engineer, this role is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and Document Management System (DMS). The Officer plays a key role in driving digital transformation, improving data accuracy, and enabling operational efficiency across manufacturing, engineering, and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Operations
- Administer, support, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP modules.
- Integrate ERP with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for production monitoring.
- Configure, customize, and troubleshoot ERP workflows, reports, and dashboards.
- Work with departments across Finance, Supply Chain, Production, and HR to capture business requirements and implement system solutions.
- Train end-users on ERP and MES functionalities.
- Coordinate with external vendors and consultants for system upgrades and ongoing support.
- Ensure data accuracy, system security, and compliance with IT policies.
- Administer and maintain the Document Management System (DMS) to control engineering drawings, design records, and technical documentation.
- Support the 3D Modeling Engineer and design team in managing revision control, access rights, and retrieval of design records within the DMS.
Quality
- Adhere to EHS requirements applicable to the design office.
Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement new techniques, technologies, or system upgrades to improve design and machining processes.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of designs and related documentation.
- Provide technical support for product documentation creation across factory sites and review produced documentation.
- Fulfil any other responsibilities as required by the company.
ACCOUNTABILITY
- Accuracy of ERP, MES, and DMS technical and master data.
- Reduction of data errors affecting operations.
- Compliance with ERP change control and approval requirements.
Requirements
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, with preference for Supply Chain and Production modules.
- Strong knowledge of MES systems and manufacturing process integration.
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, or related reporting and analytics tools is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Awareness of American Petroleum Institute (API) standards and their application to casting and forging design is advantageous.
- Solid knowledge of data governance and IT change control practices.
