Majd Yanbu Industrial Company is a joint venture between Elsewedy Cables and Alfanar Electrical Systems, building a state-of-the-art copper rod manufacturing facility in Yanbu Industrial City with a production capacity of 120,000 MT/year. As we approach commercial production, we are assembling a strong engineering team to power our operations safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

▸ Design, install, and maintain LV/MV electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, and distribution panels

▸ Support the commissioning and startup of electrical equipment across the copper rod production line

▸ Develop and implement electrical preventive maintenance programs and inspection schedules

▸ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults on production equipment, drives, and control systems

▸ Ensure full compliance with IEC, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), and relevant industrial electrical standards

▸ Coordinate with automation and instrumentation teams on PLC/SCADA integration

▸ Maintain accurate electrical as-built drawings, single-line diagrams, and documentation

What We're Looking For

▸ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

▸ 3-6 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting

▸ Strong background in LV/MV power systems, motor drives (VFDs), and industrial control systems

▸ Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems is a strong advantage

▸ Knowledge of SEC regulations and IEC electrical standards

▸ AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN experience is a plus

3. Production Engineer

Majd Yanbu Industrial Company is a joint venture between Elsewedy Cables and Alfanar Electrical Systems, building a state-of-the-art copper rod manufacturing facility in Yanbu Industrial City with a production capacity of 120,000 MT/year. As we ramp up to commercial production, we are looking for driven production engineers to help shape our manufacturing processes from the ground up.

What You'll Do

▸ Oversee daily production operations on the copper rod casting and rolling lines to meet quality and output targets

▸ Monitor process parameters including temperature, speed, tension, and cooling to ensure product consistency

▸ Identify and resolve production bottlenecks through root cause analysis and process optimization

▸ Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and support planned shutdown activities

▸ Implement and maintain production SOPs, work instructions, and control plans

▸ Track KPIs related to output, yield, scrap, and energy consumption and report findings to management

▸ Support new product trials, process improvements, and capacity enhancement projects

What We're Looking For

▸ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering

▸ 3-6 years of experience in a metals, heavy industry, or continuous casting environment

▸ Strong understanding of production planning, process control, and quality management

▸ Familiarity with copper rod or wire rod manufacturing processes is a strong advantage

▸ Proficiency in data analysis and production reporting tools

▸ Strong communication and coordination skills in a shift-based environment
