About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Technician to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment on construction projects while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform corrective maintenance.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with project requirements, local regulations, and safety standards.
• Test electrical systems and components to verify proper operation.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on-site.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Prepare basic reports and documentation related to electrical activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
