Overview

A social media content creator is responsible for crafting engaging content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok. This involves writing captivating captions, creating visually striking graphics and videos, and collaborating with the social media team to align content with client goals. They actively engage with followers to build relationships and community, while also scheduling and analyzing content using social media tools. Staying abreast of social media trends and digital marketing developments, they work closely with various team members to ensure consistent branding. Tracking key metrics such as reach and engagement, they provide regular reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness and adapt strategies in response to evolving social media algorithms and emerging platforms.
Responsibilities
- Generate creative and engaging content for various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Write compelling and concise copy for social media posts, including captions, tweets, and other text-based content.
- Develop visually appealing graphics, images, and videos to accompany social media posts.
- Work with the social media team to develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with the client's goals and target audience.
- Engage with followers and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media to build relationships and foster a sense of community.
- Schedule and publish content on social media platforms using social media tools, and monitor performance metrics to optimize content strategy.
- Stay informed about current trends in social media and digital marketing to create relevant and timely content.
- Track and analyze (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, and conversions, and provide regular reports to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in social media algorithms, best practices, and emerging platforms to continuously improve content strategies.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Film, Video Production, Journalism, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and event coverage, demonstrated through a compelling portfolio of visually engaging work.
- A strong enthusiasm for social media with a keen eye on emerging platforms and trends.
- Great storyteller not only in visual but also in copy It’s a + if he/she has animation/motion skills (editing is key).
