Role Description The Duty Free Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for managing and growing duty free retail and travel-related accounts for Cigar Square. This role includes overseeing key customer relationships, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring optimal product assortment and presentation in duty free channels. The Duty Free Account Manager will monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and prepare regular reports and forecasts for management. Daily tasks involve coordinating with internal teams on inventory, logistics, and merchandising, visiting client locations, and supporting promotions and brand activations to maximize visibility and revenue. The role also requires ongoing communication with stakeholders to address issues promptly, maintain high service standards, and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, ideally within duty free, travel retail, or FMCG environments.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex commercial agreements.
- Solid analytical skills, including experience with sales reporting, forecasting, and using data to guide strategic decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of retail operations, merchandising standards, and customer experience in premium or luxury product segments.
- Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, travel to customer locations as needed, and adapt to a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with cigars, luxury goods, or hospitality industries is beneficial, along with a genuine interest in cross-cultural engagement.
