Job Title: Accounting Specialist

Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Experience : 3 - 10 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, executing treasury functions, and ensuring seamless banking operations, including WPS payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounts Payable (AP), tax compliance, and a proven track record of using SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

1. Treasury & Banking Operations

• Manage daily cash flow, monitor bank balances, and prepare regular liquidity forecasts.
• Execute and oversee banking operations, including domestic and international wire transfers.
• Process and manage the Wage Protection System (WPS) payroll to ensure compliant and timely salary disbursements.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.

2. Accounts Payable (AP)

• Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable process, from invoice receipt to payment execution.
• Verify, code, and process vendor invoices in the ERP system.
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate variances, and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions and ensure timely vendor payments.

3. Tax Compliance & Reporting

• Assist in the preparation and filing of statutory tax returns (e.g., VAT, corporate tax).
• Ensure all financial transactions comply with local tax regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support tax audits and assessments.

4. Financial Reporting & Systems Management

• Record and post journal entries in SAP accurately and on schedule.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create financial models, variance analysis reports, and ad-hoc management reports.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes by providing accurate financial data.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
• Technical Skills:
• Hands-on experience with SAP (e.g., FI/MM modules).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
• Domain Knowledge:
• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable and tax compliance.
• Demonstrated experience with treasury management and WPS.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, high attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.
• Knowledge of local labor laws and payroll requirements.
