Brief Description:

We are looking for a professional to manage the company's overall safety strategy, ensure the application of the highest standards across all facilities, stations, and administrative buildings, and oversee all aspects related to general safety and risk prevention.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop the overall safety management strategy in line with the company's vision and objectives, setting priorities and long-term initiatives to strengthen a strong safety culture across the organization.
• Build and implement annual departmental action plans, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of safety programs.
• Establish and enforce safety and occupational health policies and procedures across all company facilities, including stations, warehouses, and administrative buildings.
• Monitor the implementation of safety procedures at stations in accordance with approved standards, and conduct periodic inspection visits to ensure full compliance.
• Train station staff on safety procedures and approved standards, organizing regular training programs to strengthen their ability to identify and manage risks.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments across work sites and recommend appropriate preventive solutions.
• Oversee fire protection and firefighting systems, ensuring they remain fully operational and compliant at all times.
• Ensure all branches and stations comply with local and international safety requirements and specifications.
• Prepare emergency response and evacuation plans, and lead regular drills and exercises for employees.
• Investigate incidents and injuries as they occur, prepare detailed reports, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate directly with the Ministry of Energy on regulatory requirements, licensing, and periodic reporting, staying current with any new updates or regulations.
• Liaise with other relevant government entities, such as Civil Defense and municipalities, regarding licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and manage the safety team, assigning responsibilities and developing team members' skills and capabilities.
• Represent the company in committees and forums related to safety within the energy and fuel station sector.
• Stay up to date with the latest local and international standards and legislation governing fuel station safety, ensuring full implementation.
• Prepare and present periodic and strategic reports to senior management covering safety performance, identified risks, and recommendations for improvement.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field;
• 8-10 years of experience in safety management, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role; experience in the energy or fuel station sector is preferred.
• Certified professional safety qualifications (such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are required.
• In-depth knowledge of Ministry of Energy and Civil Defense requirements.
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and manage crises effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with government entities and senior management.
• Proficient in computer applications, report writing, and presentation tools.
• Fluent in both English and Arabic, spoken and written.
