Role Description The Medical Director role at Silver Crescent General Polyclinic is a full-time, on-site position based in Al Khobar. The Medical Director will oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with Saudi Ministry of Health and international standards, and promote high-quality, patient-centered care. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising medical staff, guiding clinical protocols, reviewing and improving treatment pathways, and coordinating with department heads to optimize resource utilization and patient outcomes. The role involves working closely with physicians across specialties, supporting continuous professional development, and leading quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. The Medical Director will also contribute to strategic planning, community outreach, and collaboration with administrative leadership to sustain and enhance the clinic’s service excellence.

Qualifications

• Saudi National ONLY
• Strong clinical foundation in Medicine with broad experience in general practice or hospital-based care.
• Expertise or substantial experience in one or more specialties such as Cardiology, Neurology, or Oncology.
• Proven ability in Working with Physicians, including leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering collaborative clinical environments.
• Advanced medical degree (MD or equivalent), with valid licensure and eligibility to practice in Saudi Arabia.
• Previous leadership experience in a clinical or hospital setting, preferably as a Medical Director or department head.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality assurance, and patient safety standards, including those of the Saudi Ministry of Health.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and organizational skills, with a commitment to ethical and inclusive patient care.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
