Role Purpose

The Integration Engineer exists to ensure that the organizations systems, applications, and third-party platforms communicate

reliably and securely, so that data flows accurately across the business without manual intervention or failure. This role closes the

gap between disconnected systems by designing and maintaining the technical connections (APIs, middleware, data pipelines) that

allow different platforms to work as one, directly enabling business processes that depend on real-time or scheduled data exchange.

Key Responsibilities

-Design, build, and maintain integrations between internal systems, enterprise applications, and third-party platforms (APIs, webhooks,

middleware, ESB, iPaaS tools).

-Develop and manage data mapping, transformation, and synchronization logic across systems.

-Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot failures, latency issues, and data inconsistencies.

-Collaborate with software developers, solution architects, and business analysts to gather integration requirements.

-Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices (OAuth, API keys, encryption) across integration points.

-Write and maintain technical documentation for integration architecture, data flows, and error-handling procedures.

-Test integrations thoroughly (unit, functional, and end-to-end) prior to deployment.

-Support incident response and root-cause analysis for integration-related issues in production.

-Evaluate and recommend integration tools, platforms, and frameworks to improve scalability and maintainability.

-Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, and regulatory requirements across all integrations.

What You Bring

Required

● Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.

● 3-6 years of experience in systems/application integration, middleware development, or a similar engineering role.

● Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and messaging protocols (JSON, XML, MQ, Kafka, etc.).

● Hands-on experience with integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Logic Apps, Talend, or similar).

● Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).

● Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling concepts.

● Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.

● Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) preferred.
