Job Summary
The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports and forecasts, supporting budgeting and financial planning, identifying trends, and providing insights that help management make informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, reports, and business performance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Develop financial models and forecasts.
- Assist in the budgeting and financial planning process.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and business initiatives.
- Support cost analysis and profitability assessments.
- Prepare presentations and reports for management.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain financial records.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and other business departments.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) is preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools is an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, or FMVA are a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
