Job Purpose:

The Head of Project Execution oversees all aspects of Project Execution within the organization, ensuring that all Airside and Terminal activities comply with the regulations and quality requirements. They provide strategic direction, ensure safety compliance, and facilitate effective communication among Stakeholders ensuring successful project outcomes.

Position Accountability Description:

1. Strategic Planning and Leadership:Develop and implement strategic plans and provide strategic direction and leadership for project execution that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
2. Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring a high level of performance and professional development.
3. Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization's project execution processes remain competitive and effective.

1. Project Management Oversight:Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all Airside and Terminal projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
2. Ensure the acquisition of necessary permits and clearances for sitework, and compliance with the relevant safety and environmental standards (GACAR, ICAO, FAA etc.).
3. Conduct regular reviews and audits of project documentation, progress reports, and safety records.

1. Team Leadership and Development:Lead, mentor, and develop the Project Execution team, setting clear performance expectations and providing continuous support.
2. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development programs to enhance team capabilities.
3. Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and engaged workforce, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence

1. Stakeholder Management:Maintain strong relationships with key Stakeholders, including Contractors, Vendors, local Authorities, and community members.
2. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams and Stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any issues or concerns promptly.
3. Represent the organization in meetings with regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with Aviation and Environmental standards.

1. Resource Allocation and Financial Management:Develop and manage the division's budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources.
2. Identify opportunities for cost savings, value engineering and implement strategies to achieve financial efficiencies.
3. Review and advise on the legitimacy of any potential variation orders.
4. Monitor project expenditures and provide regular financial reports to Senior Management.

1. Risk Management:Identify and mitigate risks associated with Project Execution, including safety hazards, regulatory compliance, and operational disruptions.
2. Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential risks and ensure business continuity.
3. Ensure that all project activities adhere to the organization's risk management policies and procedures.

1. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the project execution division.
2. Provide regular reports and updates to Senior Management on project activities, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives.
3. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with project management policies and procedures.

Delegation and Empowerment

1. Assign tasks and responsibilities based on team members’ strengths and capabilities, ensuring accountability and empowerment.
2. Empower team members to take ownership of their roles and contribute to project success.

Conflict Resolution

1. Address and resolve conflicts within the team or with stakeholders in a constructive manner.
2. Navigate sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy, maintaining positive relationships.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree: Engineering or equivalent

Minimum 15 years of total experience in Project Management or a similar field within a large organization, preferably in the aviation or transportation industry.
