Job Description - Maintenance Worker (Heavy Equipment)

Position: Maintenance Worker

Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing the mechanical and electrical systems of heavy equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment.

* Inspect heavy equipment to identify mechanical and electrical faults.

* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems.

* Replace defective or worn mechanical and electrical components.

* Test equipment after maintenance to ensure proper operation.

* Report major faults and maintenance requirements to the Maintenance Supervisor.

* Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.

* Follow all company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.

* Keep tools and the workshop clean and organized.

* Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and on time.

Job Requirements:

* High school diploma or Technical/Vocational certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).

* Experience in heavy equipment maintenance.

* Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of heavy equipment.

* Ability to diagnose and repair equipment faults.

* Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely.

* Basic understanding of maintenance manuals and technical instructions.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
