Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Yoga Instructor role based in Mecca. The Yoga Instructor will lead group and individual yoga classes, guide students through safe and effective Ashtanga and Vinyasa practices, and adapt sequences to different levels and abilities. Day-to-day tasks include planning class themes and sequences, demonstrating postures and modifications, providing clear verbal and visual cues, and ensuring a safe, supportive studio environment. The role also involves offering mindfulness and breathing techniques, tracking student progress, and collaborating with the metâme team to develop workshops, special programs, and wellness events. The instructor is expected to maintain professional standards, uphold studio policies, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Yoga Instruction skills, including experience with Ashtanga and Vinyasa styles.
• Candidates should possess Teaching skills, including the ability to structure classes, offer modifications, and support learners at multiple levels.
• Candidates should possess clear and empathetic Communication skills to guide participants safely and build trusting relationships.
• Relevant certifications in yoga instruction (e.g., 200-hour or higher teacher training) and knowledge of anatomy, alignment, and injury prevention are beneficial.
• Experience working in wellness, fitness, or community-oriented environments, along with cultural awareness and the ability to work collaboratively, is an asset.
