⁩Chief Accountant – Riyadh

We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to join our team in Riyadh. The role will be responsible for managing the accounting function, ensuring timely month-end closing, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the business with reliable financial information

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and general ledger transactions

Manage monthly and year-end closing processes

Prepare financial reports and account reconciliations

Review journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules

Monitor inventory and cost-related transactions

Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements

Coordinate with auditors and support audit activities

Work closely with other departments to improve processes and maintain internal controls.

Supervise and support the accounting team

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum 7 years of experience, including experience in a senior accounting role

Previous experience in retail, fashion, or e-commerce companies is preferred

Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, particularly Accounting, Inventory, POS, and Purchasing modules

Good knowledge of IFRS and Saudi tax regulations

Experience in account reconciliations and month-end closing

Advanced Excel skills

SOCPA membership is an advantage

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills in both Arabic and English, written and spoken
