Job Title: CCTV Operator

Department: Security Operations / Facilities Management

Location: Saudi Arabia

Employment Type: Full-Time

The CCTV operator is responsible for monitoring and operating Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems to ensure the safety, security, and protection of people, assets, and property. The role involves continuous surveillance, identifying suspicious activities, reporting incidents, maintaining accurate logs, and coordinating with security personnel and emergency responders when required. The CCTV operator must remain vigilant, professional, and able to respond promptly to security incidents while maintaining confidentiality.

• Continuously monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to detect unusual or suspicious activities.
• Observe and report any security breaches, safety hazards, theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, or emergencies.
• Coordinate with security guards, supervisors, and emergency response teams during incidents.
• Record, document, and maintain detailed incident reports, daily logs, and surveillance records.
• Operate and manage CCTV equipment, video recording systems, alarms, and access control systems.
• Retrieve and preserve CCTV footage for investigations and management review when required.
• Ensure all surveillance equipment is functioning properly and report any technical faults immediately.
• Monitor fire alarm systems, intrusion alarms, and other integrated security systems where applicable.
• Follow established security procedures, company policies, and emergency response protocols.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of surveillance footage and sensitive information.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure cameras and monitoring equipment remain operational.
• Assist management and law enforcement agencies during investigations by providing recorded footage when authorised.
• Report maintenance issues, security risks, and operational concerns to the security supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and company security standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent (a diploma in security or a related field is an advantage).
• Certification in CCTV Operations or Security Systems is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of CCTV software, surveillance systems, and access control systems.
• Saudi nationals only.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CCTV Operator, Security Control Room Operator, or in a similar security role.
• Experience in industrial facilities, commercial buildings, logistics, warehouses, hospitals, airports, or large-scale facilities is preferred.
• Experience working with integrated security and monitoring systems is an advantage.

• 9-10-hour rotational shifts based on operational requirements.
• 6 working days per week, with 1 day off per week.

• Primarily based in the security control room with occasional site inspections.
• Continuous monitoring of surveillance systems for extended periods.
• Must be available to respond promptly during emergencies and critical security incidents.
