Role Description This is a full-time/shutdown period hybrid role for a Spring Support Inspection Project team member based in Al Khobar, with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves performing spring support inspections at client sites, including visual checks, data collection, and documentation of findings in line with company standards and project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with project supervisors and engineers, preparing inspection reports, supporting technical troubleshooting related to spring support systems, and ensuring that all inspections meet safety and quality guidelines. The role also requires responding to client inquiries, providing basic technical support, and collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure timely project completion. The position may involve occasional travel to client facilities and working in industrial environments, adhering strictly to health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Axis Inspection Contracting JSC is seeking qualified and experienced personnel for an upcoming project at Rabigh, Saudi Arabia.

Project scope:

Inspection and assessment of 427 spring hangers/supports, including:

• Hot and cold inspections
• Condition assessment
• Load and position readings
• Adjustment and reverification
• Inspection photographs
• Technical reporting
• Preparation of an Excel master log

Open positions:

1. Senior Mechanical Inspector - Spring Supports

• Strong experience in variable and constant spring supports
• Capable of conducting hot and cold inspections, evaluating readings, identifying abnormalities, and recommending adjustments

1. Instrumentation Inspector - Spring Supports

• Experience with measuring instruments, load and travel readings, calibration verification, and inspection documentation

1. Mechanical NDT Inspector

• Relevant NDT certification, preferably ASNT/PCN Level II
• Experience in visual inspection and applicable NDT methods for piping supports and mechanical components

1. QA/QC Engineer - Part-time

• Experience reviewing inspection records, reports, photographs, and technical documentation

1. HSE Officer

• Relevant Saudi-recognized HSE qualifications
• Experience in power plants, refineries, or petrochemical facilities

1. Document Controller - Part-time

• Experience preparing inspection reports, registers, photograph logs, and Excel master logs

Project details:

• Location: Rabigh, Saudi Arabia
• Expected field duration: 30-40 working days
• Mobilization: Subject to project award and client confirmation

Candidates should have relevant experience in power plants, refineries, petrochemical facilities, or similar industrial environments. Valid certifications and transferable Iqama/appropriate work authorization will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to assess inspection data, identify deviations, and support root-cause analysis.
• Technical Support capabilities to assist with spring support inspection procedures, equipment use, and basic system diagnostics.
• Customer Support and Communication skills to interact professionally with clients, clarify inspection results, and manage expectations.
• Troubleshooting skills to identify issues in spring supports and related systems and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Relevant technical education (e.g., diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field) is preferred.
• Experience in inspection, NDT, or industrial maintenance environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards and safety regulations in industrial facilities is beneficial.
• Ability to work in field conditions, follow safety protocols, and handle inspection tools and equipment reliably.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for report writing, data entry, and documentation.
