About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with VAT regulations, and supporting financial reporting and audit activities.

Requirements

•⁠  ⁠Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, ACCA, or MBA is a plus).

•⁠  ⁠Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.

•⁠  ⁠Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

•⁠  ⁠Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

•⁠  ⁠Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo, QuickBooks, or similar.

•⁠  ⁠Good understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.

•⁠  ⁠Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

•⁠  ⁠High attention to detail and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠  ⁠Record and process financial transactions accurately, including Assets, Liabilities, Expenses, Equity, and Revenue.

•⁠  ⁠Maintain bookkeeping records and ensure proper accounting treatment of Prepaid Expenses, Accruals, Provisions, Deferred Revenue, and Earned Revenue.

•⁠  ⁠Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

•⁠  ⁠Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions.

•⁠  ⁠Process payments and conduct vendor reconciliations.

•⁠  ⁠Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

•⁠  ⁠Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.

•⁠  ⁠Ensure accurate VAT recording and reporting.

•⁠  ⁠Prepare financial reports and support management with financial analysis.

•⁠  ⁠Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial records.

•⁠  ⁠Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
