The successful candidate will play an important role in establishing Lovin Jeddah’s local voice and presence. The role will involve researching, writing, editing, presenting, and supporting the production of bilingual content across lifestyle and city-focused beats. It is ideal for a strong storyteller who understands the pace of digital publishing and is excited by the opportunity to help grow a brand in a new market.

SKILLS :

• Journalism background with strong editorial judgment and storytelling ability
• 1-3 years of experience in a digital editorial, content, writing, or similar role
• Strong bilingual Arabic and English skills, both written and spoken
• Experience in content creation, presenting, and videography
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and audience development
• Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and web analytics is an advantage
• Strong interest in lifestyle, culture, and local city content
• Self-starter with a motivated, ambitious, and proactive attitude
• Excellent organizational, presentation, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research, write, edit, and proofread engaging content for Lovin Cities across digital and social platforms
• Develop relevant story ideas and content opportunities across lifestyle, culture, and city-focused beats
• Create bilingual content in Arabic and English, tailored to platform, audience, and format
• Present and appear in content where required, bringing energy, credibility, and personality on camera
• Support video-led storytelling through content creation, filming, and basic videography
• Assist with editorial planning and daily content scheduling
• Prepare and maintain the monthly content calendar
• Attend weekly meetings and contribute to editorial planning and content discussions
• Work closely with freelancers, videographers, writers, and content creators as the local operation develops
• Help build Lovin Jeddah’s voice, relevance, and audience engagement within the local market
