Job Title: Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor - Real Estate

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor to join our real estate team. The ideal candidate will oversee the accounts receivable function, ensure timely collections, coordinate closely with the property management team, and maintain accurate financial records. This role requires strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills to support effective cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the day-to-day accounts receivable operations.

Follow up with the property management team to ensure timely billing, tenant account updates, and resolution of outstanding issues.

Monitor tenant receivables and lead collection efforts to ensure timely payment of rents, service charges, and other receivables.

Follow up on overdue accounts through calls, emails, and formal collection notices.

Reconcile tenant accounts and investigate billing discrepancies.

Coordinate with leasing, property management, and finance teams to resolve payment-related issues.

Prepare AR aging reports and provide regular updates on collection status and outstanding balances.

Recommend and implement strategies to improve collection performance and reduce overdue receivables.

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.

Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

Supervise and mentor AR staff, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
