Role Description The Payroll Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jiddah. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, including preparing and processing payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy of salary calculations, deductions, and benefits. The Payroll Officer will handle payroll taxes and statutory contributions, maintain payroll records, and reconcile payroll data with finance systems. Daily tasks include responding to employee payroll inquiries, coordinating with HR and Finance to ensure timely updates to employee data, and supporting audits and compliance with local labor and tax regulations. The role also involves generating regular payroll reports and contributing to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Services, with experience managing end-to-end payroll cycles.
- Knowledge of Payroll Taxes and related regulatory requirements, with the ability to ensure accurate calculations and compliance.
- Foundational Finance skills, including reconciliation, reporting, and understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to clearly address employee inquiries and collaborate with HR and Finance teams.
- Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel; experience with HRIS or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a payroll or finance role, preferably within Saudi Arabia and in accordance with local labor laws.
