About the role:

Lead a team to ensure the timely and effective provisioning of orders, purchase, delivery, receipt storage and issue of all spare parts and equipment in line with Inventory Control Procedures and in a safe manner within laid down quality standards providing management with all necessary information and reports as specified.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain efficient inventory control systems and procedures to ensure the effective management of spare parts and equipment.
• Coordinate with workshop supervisors and team managers to ensure the availability of required spare parts.
• Ensure supplier-recommended spare parts are stocked and readily available to support operational requirements.
• Monitor and report daily, weekly, and monthly inventory performance, spending trends, and recurring equipment issues.
• Review and optimize minimum and maximum stock levels to maintain cost-effective inventory management.
• Identify inventory-related challenges and recommend practical solutions while monitoring implementation progress.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
• Analyze spare parts pricing and support cost optimization initiatives through supplier and market comparisons.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of manual and computerized inventory control systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• English Fluency
• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse operations a related field.
