Role Description The Safety Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Al Ahsa. This role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring safety policies and procedures on construction and infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The Safety Engineer will conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, and will coordinate corrective actions to minimize hazards. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with project managers and supervisors, guiding teams on safe work practices, and preparing safety reports and documentation. The role also includes delivering safety training sessions, promoting a culture of safety, and working closely with occupational health and security teams to safeguard workers, equipment, and facilities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Safety Engineering, with the ability to develop and implement effective safety management systems.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health principles to identify, evaluate, and control workplace risks affecting worker well-being.
• Experience in Security practices related to construction and industrial sites, ensuring protection of people, assets, and operations.
• Practical background in Construction Safety, including site safety inspections, hazard control, and compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Ability to design and deliver effective Training programs on safety, occupational health, and emergency response procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
• Previous experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region is preferred.
