Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Steam Turbine Specialist (Client Representative)

Location: Saudi Arabia (Project-Based)

Job Type: Contract / Project-Based

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer to act as our Client Engineer during major steam turbine overhauls at various project sites in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will serve as Exintu´s eyes and ears on the ground, overseeing the overhaul process, verifying contractor work against OEM specifications, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for translating complex technical operations into clear, actionable reports and presentations for project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Exintu Representation: Act as the primary on-site technical authority and Exintu advocate during major steam turbine overhauls.

Overhaul Supervision: Monitor, inspect, and verify all phases of the steam turbine overhaul executed by contractors or OEMs, ensuring adherence to project scopes, timelines, and technical standards.

Technical Inspection: Evaluate the condition of turbine internals and auxiliary components, assess wear and tear, and validate repair or replacement recommendations.

Reporting & Documentation: Draft comprehensive, highly accurate daily and weekly progress reports, documenting technical findings, non-conformances, and quality control metrics.

Presentations: Deliver clear and concise technical presentations to project management and client stakeholders regarding overhaul progress, critical findings, and strategic recommendations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Technical Expertise: Extensive, proven field experience specifically focused on major overhauls of steam turbines.

Communication Skills: Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken). Must possess excellent technical writing skills and the confidence to present findings clearly to stakeholders.

Location Flexibility: Willingness to mobilize to Saudi Arabia and work on-site for the duration of the assigned overhaul projects (up to 90 days).

Age Requirement: Candidates must be below 60 years of age to meet specific visa, insurance, and project deployment regulations in the region.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the capacity to manage contractor relationships effectively while protecting client interests.
