Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Course Instructor at EXEMPLAR Center for Engineering Training & Career Development. The Course Instructor will design and deliver online engineering-focused training modules, lectures, and interactive sessions, ensuring that content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with industry standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and course materials, teaching live or recorded sessions, assessing learner progress through assignments and exams, and providing timely, constructive feedback. The instructor will collaborate with the training team to update curriculum, integrate new technologies or methodologies, and support continuous improvement of course offerings. Additional tasks may include mentoring learners on career paths, maintaining clear communication through online platforms, and participating in periodic meetings to discuss program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in engineering or a closely related technical field, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners.
• Experience in curriculum design, lesson planning, and development of instructional materials for online or blended learning environments.
• Proficiency with online teaching tools and learning management systems, and comfort with delivering live virtual sessions and recorded content.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on learner engagement and inclusive teaching practices.
• Ability to evaluate learner performance, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies based on learning outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Education, or a related discipline; relevant teaching or industry certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience as an instructor, trainer, or teaching assistant in engineering or technical subjects is highly beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple courses or cohorts in a remote setting.
