يعلن المركز الوطني للدم والأورام (NBCC) عن حاجته لاستشاري أورام (Oncology Consultant) للعمل في الرياض.
نبذة عن الوظيفة
نبحث عن استشاري أورام مهتم ومخلص للانضمام إلى فريقنا في تشخيص وعلاج ورعاية المرضى المصابين بأنواع مختلفة من السرطان. سيعمل الاستشاري في مجال طب الأورام الطبي (medical oncology) باستخدام العلاج الكيميائي والأدوية الأخرى، وجراحة الأورام (surgical oncology) لإزالة الأورام والأنسجة المحيطة، وعلاج الأورام الإشعاعي (radiation oncology) لتقديم العلاج الإشعاعي للمرضى. يجب أن يكون المرشح حنوناً ومتفهماً تجاه المرضى الذين يتعاملون مع تشخيصات صعبة، وأن يكون على دراية واسعة في تخصصه مع مهارات تحليلية وحل مشكلات ممتازة.
المهام والمسؤوليات

الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة دكتوراه في الطب (Doctor of Medicine - MD) أو MD/PhD أو ما يعادلها، مع تدريب في الأورام أو أمراض الدم/الأورام (hematology/oncology)
- شهادة البورد (Board certification) ذات الصلة ببلد التوظيف في أمراض الدم/الأورام، مع ترخيص مزاولة المهنة بحالة جيدة
- القدرة على التواصل الفعال مع المرضى ومقدمي الرعاية وغيرهم من المهنيين الطبيين
- الرغبة في العمل في بيئة سريعة الخطى
- خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في مركز أورام
المهارات المطلوبة

Oncologist Job Description
We are looking for a caring, dedicated oncologist to join our team in diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients with various forms of cancer. The oncologist will work in medical oncology, using chemotherapy and other medications to treat cancer, surgical oncology, surgically removing tumors and surrounding tissues, and radiation oncology, performing radiation therapy for patients.
To be successful as an oncologist, you should be caring and compassionate towards patients who may have to deal with difficult diagnoses. You should be knowledgeable in your field and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
- Order tests - including biopsy, blood, and imaging - to confirm a diagnosis
- Provide patients with detailed information regarding cancer, their prognosis, and possible interventions or treatment options
- Develop appropriate treatment plans, with measurable goals, that provide the highest level of care while conforming to patient preference
- Maintain quality of life for patients by managing cancer-related pain and the symptoms and side effects of treatment
- Reassess as disease treatment progresses, and pursue alternative therapies or palliative care when necessary
- Participate in training sessions and correspondence for study protocols and clinical trials, and ensure that patient confidentiality is always maintained
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to accurately assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Participate as a key member of the patient-care team in implementing treatment plans and monitoring patient progress
- Utilize and promote approved standards of care, procedures, methods, techniques, safety precautions, and study protocols
- Participate in the development, review, and evaluation of standard operating procedures and study-specific
- Doctor of medicine (MD) or MD/PhD, or equivalent, with training in oncology or hematology/oncology
- Board certification relevant to country of hire in hematology/oncology, with licensure in good standing
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and other medical professionals
- Motivation to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in research and/or clinical protocols
- Ability to interpret clinical, genomic, and efficacy data
- Experience 5 years at least in oncology center
