Job Description:
Niceone is seeking a motivated and results-driven Area Sales Supervisor to join our expanding sales team. The successful candidate will oversee sales activities within an assigned geographic area, coach and develop sales representatives, drive territory performance, and ensure exceptional service for our customers. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining operational standards and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Management: Plan, implement, and manage sales strategies for the assigned area to achieve revenue and growth targets. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of sales representatives. Set clear goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching to improve skills and productivity.
- Sales Execution: Support the sales team in building relationships with key accounts, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. Participate in key customer meetings as needed to secure business.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance and KPIs, prepare regular reports, and implement corrective actions to address shortfalls and capitalize on high-potential opportunities.
- Operational Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing, credit terms, and inventory management procedures. Oversee accurate completion of sales documentation and records.
- Training & Development: Coordinate onboarding and ongoing training for sales staff on product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service standards.
- Forecasting & Planning: Contribute to territory forecasting and annual planning. Recommend resource allocation and promotional activities to maximize market penetration.
- Customer Focus: Promote high standards of customer service, handle escalations professionally, and work cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and marketing to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction.
Skills And Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of sales experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably in FMCG, retail, or distribution environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team to deliver measurable results.
- Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Analytical Ability: Comfortable using sales data and CRM tools to analyze performance, forecast, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel within the assigned area and work flexible hours as required.
