Position: IT Infrastructure & Support Manager

Company: Arabia Insurance Cooperative Company (AICC)

Reporting to: IT Director

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose:

Manage all necessary internal and external activities of IT on Infrastructure, Service Management, Governance, Monitoring and Continuity.

Areas of Contribution and Related Responsibilities

Operational Involvement - Process Administration

• Infrastructure Management.

• Ensuring all installation of network infrastructure, systems, VOIP, Mail systems, and security devices for central and remote locations.

• Ensuring safety for Communication of AICC by using secure gateways, encryption or other available methods.

• Evaluate the overall IT infrastructure capacity in order to ensure optimum system performance.

• Plan, coordinate, and implement new IT Infrastructure projects and solutions.

• Managing Systems and Network staff, assigning and organizing tasks, and overseeing implementations and upgrades.

• Mentors, coaches, and manages direct reports by establishing specific goals and objectives.

• Review Designing, implementing for all Communication, networks, Systems and participate in IT security design for Head Office, Branches, and POS.

• Providing recommendations and assistance concerning hardware, system software and network design or changes to enhance their performance, utilization and security of IT resources.

• Checking the network installation meets the relevant information security requirements.

• Checking the Systems installation meets the relevant information security requirements.

• Ensure high availability and redundancy for all infrastructure nodes.

• Assisting in solving all technical problems.

• Notifying the IT Director of network or system failures and taking appropriate actions to address such failures.

• Responsible for strategic planning, presenting/proposing, managing, supporting projects related to the infrastructure and operations also assist IT Director for planning dialogs.

• Responsible for Data Center, DR site and Branches IT Infrastructure.

Define and provide overarching IT infrastructure, Service Management, Governance, Monitoring and Continuity to fit operational requirements.

• Abides by and continuously monitors the implementation of risk and compliance requirements and their implementations to ensure company information is protected and threats are controlled.

Customer Relationship Management

Maintains customer relations as he:

• Follows up regularly on clients’ inquiries and requests and ensures those are promptly catered for to ensure quality excellence and efficient service provision.

Report Development & Documentation

• Provides accurately all required updated data for reporting purposes as per standards to support sound decision-making.

Policies and Procedures

• Strictly abides by AICC's policies and procedures to ensure risk-free process and error-free outcomes.

Communications and Working Relationships

Regularly communicates with concerned internal and external parties, using proficient oral and written communication to fulfill his duties and to ensure process efficiency.

Framework, Boundaries, and Decision-Making Authority

The job is subject to standardized work routines, practices, and procedures with fairly general and well-communicated work instructions. The job holder is expected to make routine decisions within his scope of responsibility and refer to direct supervision for guidance and updating.

Role Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science-related field required or equivalent experience in computer science, business, or project management discipline.

• Advanced courses and certifications in Insurance.

Experience:

• 8 years in an IT discipline with at least 2 years’ project management experience.

• Highly recommended PMP certified or similar project management certificates.
