Role Description The Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, track expenses and revenues, and assist with budgeting and cash flow management. The role includes supporting audits, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations, and maintaining accurate financial documentation. The Accountant will collaborate with management to provide financial insights, improve internal controls, and support decision-making related to pricing, cost management, and overall financial performance.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in general accounting, including ledger management, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, billing, and bank reconciliations.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control practices, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide recommendations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and comfort working with digital financial tools.
• Understanding of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with operations and management teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, SOCPA) is an advantage.
• Prior accounting experience in service, hospitality, or wellness industries is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
