For our HOYER Middle East office in Al-Jubail, we are looking for a Operations Supervisor (m/f/d).

The aim is to ensure all operational activities and the processing of filling orders. In addition, the job holder does the day-to-day work and activities according to the plan.

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for Proper execution of the operations as per instruction of Operations Manager. The operations involves handling of Hazardous Liquid Chemicals. The Operations Supervisor shall arrange trucks and tanks in order to ensure proper execution of activities. He will be performing the day to day tasks as described below:

General requirements:

• Supervision of a team of 10-20 members working in both Day Shift and Night different shift
• Following the work instructions and regulations
• Following the plant safety standards and PPE requirements (awareness of using PPE’s)
• Knowledge in emergency response
• Working prudently and according to the requirements
• Flexibility, punctuality and ability to work in a team

Plant safety / work safety / environmental protection / quality:

• Participating on trainings regularly and informing the supervisor about SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) relevant incidents immediately
• Knowledge in spill containment and emergency response
• Working according to the quality requirements of the SHEQ systems

Operational Activities:

• Supervise employees with a team of 10-20 Members
• Prepare and submit operational reports
• Ensure that the operations are conducted as per Safety procedures.
• Ensure operations as per quality requirements
• Proper arrangements shall be done for the team so as to ensure availability of resources to have proper functioning of the operations
• Scheduling of activities to ensure best practice.
• Scheduling Maintenance activities of the equipment’s to ensure continuous operation.
• The candidate shall be proficient with MS office (including skills in writing and reading emails).
• The candidate may require to operate the equipment’s (Such as Drum filling Machine or Forklift) to support team as per work requirement.
• The candidate may require to operate weighbridge as per the requirement.
• Timely execution of orders in accordance with the procedures known by the job holder
• Accountable to collect and keep chemical samples from the pipeline prior to start the filling.
• Monitoring the process and controlling the parameters of every activities and reports any issues to Operations Manager
• Ensure that the Operations are carried out with necessary checklists.
• Efficient utilization of Resources, Time and available space to deliver the best practice

Qualifications and educational requirements

• Diploma certificate holder or above.
• Basic Material Knowledge and Sound understanding of Heavy Equipment like Forklift
• Forklift license will be an advantage
• English speaking & writing

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in similar job environment e.g. chemical handling
• Sound awareness about the handling of hazardous chemicals
• Able to understand MSDS of chemicals
• Knowledge of compatibility of products/chemicals with each other
