Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electronic Technician role based in Medina. The Electronic Technician will assemble, test, and repair electronic equipment and components, following technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, performing routine preventive maintenance, and completing accurate service and repair documentation. The role also involves collaborating with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex technical issues, maintaining tools and workstations in safe working order, and adhering to all safety and quality standards. The Electronic Technician is expected to support continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on recurring issues and potential design improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electronics Technology and Electricity, with the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Soldering, including through-hole and surface-mount components, with attention to precision and quality.
- Hands-on experience in Troubleshooting electronic systems and components using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Demonstrated capability in Maintenance & Repair of electronic devices, ensuring reliability and compliance with safety standards.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with standard lab tools and measurement instruments (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies).
- Ability to follow procedures, maintain clear records, and work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance.
