مستشفى الملك فيصل التخصصي ومركز الأبحاث بالرياض يعلن عن توفر وظيفة استشاري جراحة عامة وجراحة الجهاز الهضمي العلوي.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • تقديم رعاية طبية عالية الجودة في جميع جوانب جراحة الجهاز الهضمي العلوي والجراحة العامة وفقاً للامتيازات السريرية المعتمدة.
  • تقديم الاستشارات (المرضى الداخليين، الخارجيين، قسم الطوارئ، وغيرها) عند الطلب والاستجابة في الوقت المحدد وفقاً لسياسات المستشفى.
  • إكمال التقارير الطبية بدقة وفي الوقت المحدد وبما يتوافق مع الكفاءات المطلوبة.
  • توفير خدمة المناوبات وضمان التوفر والاستجابة خلال الإطار الزمني المحدد وفقاً لسياسات المستشفى.
  • إجراء جولات صباحية يومية لتحديد المرضى المستعدين للخروج، وضمان إصدار أوامر الخروج خلال 24 ساعة قبل المغادرة.
  • أداء أي مسؤوليات سريرية أخرى متعلقة بالتخصص وفقاً للتكليف.
  • تقديم التوجيه والتدريب السريري والإشراف للمتدربين والمقيمين والزملاء حسب التكليف.
  • المشاركة في الأنشطة التعليمية للقسم والبرامج التدريبية، وحضور المؤتمرات الطبية المحلية والدولية.
  • الحفاظ على المعرفة المهنية ومتطلبات التعليم المستمر وتطويرها.
  • المشاركة في مشاريع بحثية سريرية وأساسية وانتقالية وفقاً لسياسات مجلس البحوث لتعزيز المعرفة وجودة التعليم العالي والاعتراف الدولي بالمستشفى.
  • الاضطلاع بالمهام الإدارية التي يكلف بها رئيس القسم أو رئيس مجلس الأقسام.
  • المشاركة في جميع أنشطة القسم الإلزامية والعمل في لجان المستشفى والمهام الإدارية الأخرى حسب الحاجة.
  • مساعدة القسم في تطبيق الممارسات والتقنيات التي تساعد على تحقيق أقصى استفادة من الموارد داخل القسم وفي جميع أنحاء المستشفى.
  • الالتزام باللوائح الطبية وسياسات وإجراءات المستشفى الحالية وأي تغييرات تطرأ عليها.
  • المشاركة في تعليم وتدريب وتطوير الذات والآخرين حسب الاختصاص.
  • أداء المهام الأخرى ذات الصلة حسب التكليف.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • التخرج من كلية طب معتمدة، وإكمال فترة التدريب المطلوبة في التخصص أو التخصص الفرعي، مع شهادة البورد العربي أو الأمريكي أو عضوية أو زمالة في الولايات المتحدة و/أو كندا أو ما يعادلها.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن سبع (7) سنوات في التدريب على التخصص أو التخصص الفرعي، بالإضافة إلى خبرة لا تقل عن سبع (7) سنوات في الممارسة بعد التخرج في التخصص الفرعي.

Summary

Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases and conditions, as well as the provision of medical care in the field of General & Upper GI Surgery in accordance with current medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and the Hospital’s policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Clinical Responsibilities 
  1. Provides high quality patient care in all aspects of General & Upper GI Surgery according to his/her approved clinical privileges. 
  2. Provides consultation (inpatient, outpatient emergency room, other patient areas) upon request and responds in a timely manner within the prescribed timeframe as outlined in the Hospital’s policy. 
  3. Responsible for the timely completion, competencies, accuracy and eligibility of the medical report. 
  4.  Provides on-call service and ensures availability and response time with the prescribed time within the prescribed timeframe in accordance with Hospial’s policy. 
  5.  Conducts daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for discharge. Ensures that discharge orders are within 24 hours prior to discharge. 
  6.  Performs any other clinical responsibilities related to General & Upper GI Surgery as assigned. 
  • Academic Responsibilities 
  1.  Provides orientation, bedside training and supervision to interns, residents and fellows as assigned. 
  2.  Participates in Department’s educational activities and training programs. Partakes in national and international medical conferences. 
  3.  Maintains and enhances professional knowledge and continuing education requirements. 
  • Research Responsibilities 
  1.  Participates in clinical, basic and translational research projects in accordance with Research Advisory Council Policy in order to advance knowledge, improve the quality of postgraduate education and contribute to the national and international recognition of the Hospital. 
  • Administrative Responsibilities 
  1.  Undertakes the administrative duties assigned by Head of Section or Chairman. 
  2.  Participates in all mandatory departmental activities and serves on departmental, Hospital’s committees, and other administrative functions, as required. 
  3.  Assists the department in the development and implementation of techniques and practices that help maximize the utilization of all resources within the department and across the Hospital. 
  4.  Abide by the current Hospital and medical bylaws, all relevant rules, regulations and policies and keeps updated of any changes that might occur. 
  5.  Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures. 
  6.  Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable. 
  7.  Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Graduation from an accredited medical school, completion of required period of training in speciality and/or subspecialty, with Arab or American Board certificate, membership and/or fellowship status in the United States and/or Canada or their equivalent.

Experience Required

Seven (7) years of training in specialty or subspecialty plus postgraduate training experience must be equal or to exceed seven (7) years’ experience in the subspecialty.
