Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control Engineer role based in Dammam. The Quality Control Engineer will monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and internal quality standards. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and technical documents, developing and implementing quality control plans, conducting site inspections and material tests, and documenting nonconformities with corrective actions. The role involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence. The Quality Control Engineer will also prepare quality reports, support audits, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and promote a culture of safety and quality across project sites.

Qualifications

• Strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, including experience with inspection procedures and testing methods.
• Proficiency in Quality Management practices, standards, and documentation within construction or engineering projects.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting technical data, identifying root causes, and proposing effective solutions.
• Clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and reporting quality findings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in construction quality control, preferably on commercial or multi-disciplinary projects.
• Familiarity with relevant Saudi building codes, international standards, and safety regulations.
• Ability to work on-site in Dammam, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in quality or inspection (e.g., ISO quality systems, QA/QC courses) is an advantage.
