Job Description

The Role

After more than 20 years in the role, our long-standing Territory Manager is retiring, creating an outstanding opportunity to step into a well-established territory with a loyal customer base.

This isnt a role for an order taker. Were looking for someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships, earning trust and becoming the go-to person for customers. Youll spend your time out on the road, understanding your customers businesses, providing practical advice and ensuring they receive the service and support they need.

Based from your home office, youll manage an established territory covering Taupō, Rotorua, Whakatane, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū and Wellington, with regular travel throughout the region. You can be based anywhere within the territory.

What Youll Be Doing

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with plumbing and drainage merchants across your territory.
• Growing existing accounts while delivering exceptional customer service and account management.
• Providing product knowledge, technical guidance and outstanding customer service.
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure customers receive the support they need.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience within the plumbing, drainage or related industry.
• A genuine passion for building long-term customer relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
• Self-motivation, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
