Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role located in Haql. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee and espresso-based beverages, following established recipes and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include operating coffee equipment, handling food preparation for light café items, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and managing basic cash and POS transactions. The role involves greeting guests, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and professional customer experience. The Barista is expected to work collaboratively with the team, follow health and safety guidelines, and support smooth café operations during peak and off-peak hours.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to provide a friendly, attentive, and respectful guest experience.
• Barista skills, including coffee brewing, espresso extraction, milk steaming, and basic latte art.
• Clear Communication skills to take orders accurately, explain menu items, and coordinate with team members.
• Food Preparation skills to handle café food items safely and consistently according to standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, handle fast-paced shifts, and follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Previous café or hospitality experience is an advantage but not required; training can be provided.
• Reliability in attendance, willingness to work different shifts, and commitment to maintaining quality and cleanliness.
