المهام والمسؤوليات
- إجراء التفتيش الميداني في مواقع المشاريع ومراقبة الآثار البيئية.
- تنفيذ إجراءات التخفيف من الأثر البيئي ودعم الممارسات المستدامة.
- تقييم المخاطر البيئية ومتابعة مؤشرات الأداء البيئي.
- إعداد التقارير والوثائق البيئية ودعم عمليات التصاريح البيئية.
- التعاون مع مديري المشاريع والمهندسين والمقاولين لدمج الاعتبارات البيئية في التصميم والتنفيذ.
- المشاركة في تحقيقات الحوادث وتوصية الإجراءات التصحيحية.
- دعم التحسين المستمر لممارسات البيئة والسلامة في الموقع.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- معرفة قوية وخبرة عملية في مجال البيئة والصحة والسلامة (EHS)، مع القدرة على تنفيذ وإدارة برامج EHS متكاملة في مشاريع البناء أو التطوير العقاري.
- مهارات مثبتة في الصحة والسلامة المهنية، تشمل تحديد المخاطر وتقييم المخاطر ودعم إجراءات العمل الآمنة.
- وعي بيئي مثبت يشمل فهم اللوائح البيئية، تخفيف الأثر، إدارة النفايات، وكفاءة الموارد في البيئات المبنية.
- خبرة في تقديم التدريب على مواضيع البيئة والصحة والسلامة لفرق العمل المتنوعة في الموقع، مع تواصل ومتابعة واضحة لضمان الفهم والامتثال.
- درجة البكالوريوس في العلوم البيئية أو الهندسة البيئية أو الصحة والسلامة المهنية أو مجال ذي صلة (أو خبرة مهنية معادلة).
- الإلمام باللوائح البيئية والسلامة المحلية والدولية ذات الصلة بمشاريع البناء؛ خبرة في الشرق الأوسط ميزة إضافية.
- مهارات تحليلية وإعداد تقارير قوية، تشمل القدرة على إعداد وثائق واضحة وعمليات تدقيق وتقارير حوادث أو امتثال.
- القدرة على العمل في الموقع بمدينة العلا، والتعاون بفعالية مع فرق متعددة التخصصات والثقافات، والتكيف مع متطلبات المشروع المتغيرة.
- الشهادات المهنية في EHS أو الإدارة البيئية أو الصحة والسلامة المهنية (مثل NEBOSH، ومعرفة ISO 14001/45001) تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

Role Description The Environment Specialist will play a key role in ensuring that construction and real estate activities comply with environmental and health and safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Al ‘Ulá, focused on monitoring environmental impacts, implementing mitigation measures, and supporting sustainable practices on active projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site inspections, assessing environmental risks, tracking environmental performance indicators, and ensuring adherence to local and international regulations. The role includes preparing reports and documentation, supporting environmental permitting processes, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate environmental considerations into design and execution. The Environment Specialist will also participate in incident investigations, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous improvement of environmental and safety practices on-site.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), with the ability to implement and manage integrated EHS programs on construction or real estate projects.
- Demonstrated skills in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and support for safe work procedures.
- Proven Environmental Awareness, including understanding of environmental regulations, impact mitigation, waste management, and resource efficiency in built environments.
- Experience delivering Training on environmental, health, and safety topics to diverse on-site teams, with clear communication and follow-up to ensure comprehension and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Familiarity with local and international environmental and safety regulations relevant to construction projects; experience in the Middle East is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to prepare clear documentation, audits, and incident or compliance reports.
- Ability to work on-site in Al ‘Ulá, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Professional certifications in EHS, environmental management, or occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 14001/45001 knowledge) are a plus.
