THE SHORT VERSION

This fall, 20 startup founders from Saudi Arabia will be in San Francisco. They will sit in small rooms with people who founded companies you use every day, who run strategy at frontier AI labs, and who write some of the most notable Silicon Valley cheques. They will go inside some of the best known technology companies in the world. They will finish with a Demo Day in front of investors. Someone has to make all of that actually happen on the ground. That is this role. The engagement runs 15 August to 15 October 2026. The founders are in San Francisco 14 September to 9 October. Applications close August 10, 2026.

WHO WE ARE

SparkLabs is a global group of accelerators and venture capital funds, founded in South Korea and now operating across Taiwan, Australia, the USA and Saudi Arabia. We have over 600 startups in our portfolio. Our most notable investments include OpenAI, xAI and Anthropic. We are not just investing in startups. We are investing in founders, and building the infrastructure to support them from day one. That means rolling up our sleeves, solving real problems, and getting things done. This program is run in partnership with UC Berkeley and Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

THE PROGRAM

Four weeks, twenty founders, built around five things:

1. Mentorship - group and one-to-one sessions with operators who have built and scaled real companies.

2. Company visits - founders go inside high profile tech companies and hear the builder stories firsthand.

3. Fireside chats and mixers - high profile speakers share their journey, followed by networking.

4. Demo Day - twenty founders on stage in front of VCs.

5. Final Ceremony - the closing event, bringing together the highest profiles across the USA and Saudi ecosystems, from government to entrepreneurs.

You are the person on the ground in San Francisco. You own execution.

Before the program

↳ Building the checklist for the program and executing it

↳ Source and lock venues for our program days, plus Demo Day and the Final Ceremony

↳ Source the vendors: catering, AV, photography, transport

↳ Walk the spaces, check the details, find the problems before they find us

↳ Build the run of show for each day

During the program

↳ Run our program days end to end, from setup to close

↳ Handle logistics for company visits, mixers and fireside chats

↳ Help fill in the rooms for our events

↳ Be the point of contact for speakers, venues and vendors on the day

↳ Solve whatever goes wrong, because something always does

The final week

↳ Produce Demo Day, our biggest moment of the program

↳ Produce the Final Ceremony

↳ Rehearsals, run of show, stage management, guest flow

You will have a remote team supporting you with reporting materials or other matters you might require. Your job is the ground game.
