Summary:

The Senior Wet Utilities Engineer supervises installation and testing of potable water, wastewater, and drainage network works, ensuring compliance with design and applicable specifications.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Utilities Engineering

Professional Membership: -

Min. Overall Relevant Experience: 12 years

Min. Experience in Similar Role/Projects: 2 years

Min. Regional (Middle East) Experience: 5 years

Location: Project site, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Construction Supervision services)

Language: Fluent spoken, read, and written English required

Job Title: Senior Wet Utilities Engineer

Role Purpose:

Supervise potable water and wastewater network construction, including the 800mm NWC potable water network, ensuring compliance with design and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wet Utilities Supervision - Supervise installation and testing of potable water and wastewater network works, including the 800mm NWC potable water network.

• Submittal Review - Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and wet utilities design compliance.

• Site Verification - Inspect and verify pipeline installation, jointing, pressure testing, and chlorination/commissioning works.

• Interface Coordination - Coordinate wet utilities works interfaces with civil, structural, and roadworks activities.

• Progress Reporting - Report wet utilities progress and technical issues to the Resident Engineer / Construction Manager.

• Direct site experience with large-diameter (600mm+) potable water transmission network construction.

• Experience with NWC (National Water Company) specifications and approval processes in Saudi Arabia.

Supervises potable water and wastewater network construction, reviewing submittals and verifying compliance with wet utilities design and specifications on site.

Provides wet utilities technical oversight across multiple interfacing water and wastewater network packages on large-scale developments, ensuring compliant, coordinated delivery.
