Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including posting journal entries, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accurate recording of accounts payable and receivable. The role includes preparing invoices, monitoring payments, handling expense reports, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accountant will assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and budgets, while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The position also involves collaborating with internal teams, responding to vendor and client financial inquiries, and supporting audits and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and journal entry posting.
• Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting and analysis, such as preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and generating management reports.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and productivity tools, including ERP systems, spreadsheet applications, and financial databases.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with operations, procurement, and management teams.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities, including handling multiple priorities and meeting reporting deadlines.
• Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field are preferred; professional certifications
• Experience in trading, industrial supply, or construction-related industries in the GCC region is beneficial, along with familiarity with local regulatory and tax environments.
