Job Summary

The Preparatory Year Program (PYP) at Prince Sultan University is inviting qualified candidates (priority is for Saudi candidates) to apply for the following faculty positions for the 2025-2026 Academic Year, Second Semester:

• PYP - Math LECTURER (Male)
  
  

Applicants Are Expected To

• have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in the relevant field.
• have earned a degree from an accredited university and completed it on-site as a full-time student.
• have experience teaching in higher education.
• be proficient in English (As all teaching and advising are in English, an excellent standard of spoken and written English is required.
• have very good interpersonal skills.
• use information technology effectively.
• be willing to make valuable contributions to the program, departmental committees, and workshops/seminars/scholarly/student activities.
• teach 16-20 contact hours per semester.

About The Preparatory Year Program (pyp)

The Preparatory Year Program is a vibrant, energetic, one-year program that bridges the gap between high school and higher education. In the PYP, students develop the numerical, linguistic, digital, practical, and study skills necessary to succeed at the college level as required by academic discipline. On a daily basis, students engage with a diverse group of highly experienced and enthusiastic faculty members and administrative staff. During the one-year program, PYP students are encouraged to immerse themselves in a range of academic and extracurricular activities in a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

Salary And Benefits

The University is continuously expanding, and its campus is located in north-central Riyadh.

• We offer a one-year renewable contract (renewable subject to Dean/Director and student evaluations) and a competitive salary package based on academic qualification, rank, and teaching experience as stated above.
• Other benefits include: medical insurance coverage for the employee & dependents residing within the Kingdom, (spouse & 4 children below 24 years of age);
• Transport allowance;
• Round-trip tickets (maximum 4: employee, spouse, and 2 children below 18 years of age) for annual leave with paid annual (summer) vacation of two (2) months, plus 2 local paid holidays of about 15 days each (as applicable);
• Tuition fees of up to 30,000 Saudi Riyals for children attending school within the Kingdom. Details will be specified in the contract.
• Free, furnished accommodation plus essential utilities and maintenance will be provided, subject to availability, OR the successful candidate will be provided a housing allowance based on academic rank.
• End-of-service yearly gratuity, which starts on the 2nd year of continuous service (if the candidate has completed a minimum of 2 years).
