About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a government entity in Riyadh for an experienced Senior Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Consultant. The selected candidate will play a key role in establishing ESG advisory services from the ground up by developing service offerings, methodologies, frameworks, and delivery tools while supporting the successful execution of initial ESG projects. This is a 6-8 month contract based in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and develop ESG advisory service offerings.
• Develop ESG methodologies, frameworks, templates, and delivery tools.
• Design service scopes, project deliverables, and implementation approaches.
• Prepare technical proposals, RFP responses, and project documentation.
• Provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.
• Transfer knowledge and build the capabilities of consulting teams.
• Support the successful implementation of initial ESG projects while ensuring consistent application of methodologies and best practices.
• Ensure alignment with internationally recognized ESG standards and reporting frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including extensive experience in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) consulting.
• Proven experience establishing or developing ESG advisory services within a consulting firm.
• Demonstrated experience delivering ESG projects and developing methodologies, frameworks, templates, and technical proposals.
• Strong knowledge of international ESG standards and reporting frameworks, including GRI, ISSB, SASB, and TCFD.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.
• Based in Riyadh or willing to work on-site throughout the 6-8 month contract.
