About the Company

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect Engineer to join our team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in site supervision for large-scale mixed-use developments, including commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, office, and urban development projects. The successful candidate will ensure architectural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising architectural construction works on-site, ensuring compliance with approved designs, project schedules, and quality standards. The role requires strong technical expertise, effective coordination with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to resolve site-related issues to ensure the successful delivery of complex mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and project schedules.
• Monitor daily construction activities and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, mock-ups, and method statements related to architectural works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship, construction quality, and compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, and landscape teams to ensure seamless integration of architectural works.
• Identify construction and technical issues and coordinate with the design team to develop practical and timely solutions.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
• Inspect completed works, prepare snag and punch lists, and verify the timely rectification of defects before project handover.
• Attend site coordination meetings, progress meetings, and client inspections, providing technical support and project updates.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements throughout construction activities.
• Review contractors' progress, quality of work, and compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations.
• Prepare site inspection reports, progress reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and other project documentation.
• Support the Project Manager and Resident Engineer in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in architectural site supervision.
• Proven experience supervising large-scale mixed-use developments, including commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, office, and urban development projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, architectural detailing, finishing works, building materials, and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with international building codes, local regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and construction management software is preferred.
