Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mechanical Technician to join our team at INP. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. The ideal candidate has a strong technical aptitude, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical machinery and equipment. Diagnose complex mechanical failures and execute repairs in a timely manner.
• Installation & Setup: Assist in the installation, assembly, and testing of new equipment, ensuring compliance with blueprints, technical manuals, and safety standards.
• Troubleshooting: Utilize diagnostic tools and instrumentation to identify malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repair history, and parts usage. Report equipment status and safety concerns to management.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Mechanical Technology or a related technical certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience: 5+] years of experience in a mechanical maintenance role (industrial or manufacturing environment preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team.
