Role Description The Kitchen and Laundry Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Neom. This position is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation at all times. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, replacing parts, performing routine inspections, and documenting service activities. The technician coordinates with facility teams and supervisors, follows technical manuals and safety procedures, and supports continuous improvement of equipment performance and reliability. The role may also involve responding to urgent breakdowns, assisting with equipment upgrades, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, including installation, preventive maintenance, and repair.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems related to appliances and facility equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, service manuals, and equipment specifications.
• Familiarity with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and best practices for working with electrical and gas-powered equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostics.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation, work order systems, and reporting.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and facility staff.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, or related field; previous facility management or hospitality maintenance experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Neom, adapt to changing operational needs, and participate in shift or on-call rotations as required.
